Kathy Roper

I have been living in Penang for several years. At first I was working here but then, as I loved Penang so much, I decide to retire here.

Before coming to Penang I worked in Sri Lanka. I was a part of a team teaching English to primary school teachers, It was a joint project funded by the British government, assisted by the British Council and supported by the Sri Lankan education system.

I taught in various primary and special schools in England before venturing to Asia in 1999.

I love to paint and draw and play card games and I love to support animal charities.

I have been a member of the IWA for over 10 years.
